Celebrated Moment in Life 3 Comments
January 11, 2008 will always be an important day to me for the rest of my life. It is the day I asked a woman I have loved for a very long time to marry me. She has loved me and I loved her but life tried very hard to keep us apart.
That being said.. it was a wee bit less romantic then envisioned! It's supposed to be 'perfect' of course. Proposing to a woman, that is. You have a well planned speech. You plan on getting on your knee. You plan on a 'perfect' setting. Somehow, in a chain of restuarants (nice ones..but..) with a 'CVS Pharmacy' in the background.. and you are too nervous to get on you knee till the very end..well..
Luckily, she seemed not to notice and said yes!
Now if only I can get her to come online and learn how to game! That would be perfect! :)
Anyway...
I hope to be a regular forum poster here soon, participating more in this community! And no - I did not 'meet her online and at SpawnPoint' no matter how cool that might have seemed ;)

Congratulations Wizard! Truth be told ~ she accepted your proposal because she loves you. She didn't care about the setting, whether you were on your knee...Every girl/woman in that situation looks at and makes a decision based on who that person in front of them is. Good luck and congratulations to both of you!
Congratulations. Ignore what the movies say proposals should be like, as long as you're in love and she said yes that's about as special as it gets. Looking forward to having you around Wizard. There is something familiar about this, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
